Business Trip

On Monday next week, Master Obi-Won, Shock Ti, and I embark on a business trip to Nabu Moss Eyesley. What we will be doing is trying to find an architect for the Jeddi temple. Because Master Wendu wants to add a game room to it. (And everybody knows that the best architects are on Nabu Moss Eyesley!) We might not get back for a while. We will be dedicated to our search though.

Wedgie Again...

I'll bet you noticed that I did not write a post yesterday. Well, that's because Wedgie (Wedge) came over to play with Luke. Since he is in my bass class, I felt that he was partly my friend too. (Not to mention I went over to his house once to play his Three X's video game!) So Luke and I goofed of with him all afternoon. So by the time he left, I had no time to write a post. Sorry about that...

Emergency Meeting

Alright: a quick post!  The Jeddi council called an "emergency meeting" for tonight!  We are going: Bowling!  I will probably lose 'cause master Yoduh is a "master" at using the force!  But it will be fun just the same!  Gotta go!

A Take-Out Box Please

Hon and Lea are going out tomorrow night. They are going to a Chinese restaurant. Lea is a little nervous, though. Because Hon is planning to try (for the first time) to use chopsticks. Lea isn't worried he'll goof off... She's just worried he'll get mad at the chopsticks, shoot them (in front of everybody in the restaurant!), and then calmly ask for a take-out box. She tried suggesting that they go to an Italian restaurant. But Hon's mind is made up!

Family Nights

Padmae recently came up with (what she called) a great idea. She wants us to have "family nights" every Sunday night. "That means no TV (Lea), NO Jeddi councils (Ani), and no video games (Luke). We will eat dinner together and then play board games or something..."
I guess I like the idea. I will just have to cancel my dentist appointment for this week. I just hope Dr. Andrews doesn't cry too much...

The "Sea of Birthdays" is turning into a TIDAL WAVE!!!

Padmae's birthday is coming up soon!  Oh dear!  This is (what I call) a sea of birthdays!  Her birthday is on Friday next week.  I HAVE to figure out a romantic present to give her on this occasion!  I need ideas!  I can't just give her Cool Guy 82 or Jeddi Boots...  I have to give her something special!  I would appreciate help...

Hotdogs and Homeruns

My post is so late today because Luke's baseball team had their first game this afternoon. It was great. Luke was good. He did not make any home runs. He kept to his word that he would not use his force powers. (Of course his team lost, but, hey! he got to play, right?) I bought a hot dog. It tasted like cardboard. I guess that's because I was feeling guilty about it. I love baseball!!! I came up with an almost original theme song for it:
"Take me out to the ballgame...take me out to the crowds...Buy me some hotdogs that don't taste so good...'Cause my diet was not followed like it should......"

100th Post!!!

This is my 100th Post!!!

But, to make a "100th Post", I need to actually write one. Thus:

Today I have taken Dood to the vet to get his shots. He goofed off and seemed more interested in watching Lord of the Rings on the TV in the lobby than going into the office (so would I if shots were involved!). Finally he got his shots and I took him home. He's a great pet!

Unfair Advantage

All the 19 year old boys in our neighborhood are getting together a baseball team.  Luke is hoping he won't be disqualified just because he is a Jeddi.  One of the rules about baseball (made in our galaxy around 1950) says that Jeddi are not allowed to play baseball because their force powers make their team invincible!  I hope they'll make an exception for Luke.  Luke is, at the moment, begging the guy who's in charge to let him do it.  He is saying (and I quote) "Please!  I promise not to use my force powers!"  I guess--...what's that?  You think I'm listening through the keyhole?  Why would I do that?...

"Football Injury"

Yesterday we did our "spring" cleaning. Well, this morning, Padmae went outside to look at the garage and liked it sooo much....she wanted to get rid of some stuff we have in our attic. I wouldn't normally mind, but she got rid of my football trophy I got when I was 14! (I got it because I made the most goals [I know I shouldn't have used my force, but, hey...it's only a game, right?]). I was so sad I didn't even play video games all day. Padmae felt so sorry for me that she fished it out of the garbage can and said, "We'll throw something else out, Ani." So I'm going to get up early tomorrow morning to catch up on my video gaming!

It Sure Doesn't Look Like Spring to ME

Today, Padmae decided to do her "spring cleaning". Actually, I call it "summer going on fall cleaning". She says that we didn't do it this spring...so we need to catch up. It has taken me a while to write a post 'cause when ever I sit down at my laptop she says, "Oh, Ani, could you ______" (Fill in the blank) I finally finished all the: vacuuming, dusting, sorting, alphabetizing, scrubbing spraying, etc. etc.... So NOW I can write a post. Thankfully, this kind of work only comes once a year....

Unexpected Birthday Party

Yesterday (as said) I went to Jeddi Mart to buy a conFusion Razor for Master Obi-Won for his birthday.  After that, I went to his house to give it to him (don't worry; I sat in the driveway and wrapped it up first!).  I went up the driveway and knocked on his door.  He opened it (he looked like he had just gotten up [I think he was planning on having a quiet birthday]).  I said "happy birthday!" and handed him his present.  He asked me if I could come in.  I said "sure!".  Just as we were sitting down at his table and he was about to open my present, there was a knock at the door.  He opened it.  It was master Ki-Adi-Mundee (also bearing a gift).  Obi-Won said the same thing to him as he had to me.  Master Ki-Adi-Mundee said he would "be delighted to come in...".  Just as we were all sitting down again, the doorbell rang.  It turned out to be Master Yoduh (also bearing gifts)....  All 4 of us were about to sit down when Master Wendu showed up (with icecream, cake, and a present).  People kept on coming until Master Obi-Won looked like he was about to cry.  Apparently he had planned a quiet birthday.  So, Master Wendu took charge; "Alright everybody!  How about some cake?"  So everyone had cake, ice cream, and then, were gone.  Only Obi-Won, Master Wendu, and I were left.  Finally, I said, "Happy Birthday Master Obi-Won!"  He gave me a weak smile, and Wendu and I left.  I feel sorry for Master Obi-Won (but at least now he can play with all his toys in peace!).

Oh Deary Me!

TODAY is Master Obi-Won's bday!!! I haven't yet bought him a present! Yikes! I'd better go out and buy him one of those conFusion Razors for his beard. Right away! I'll talk later about his reaction....

Note: I am nearing my 100th hit on my hit counter!

Wedgie's Cool Video Game

"Why did he not write a post yesterday?" you may ask...  Well, let me explain: Luke wanted to visit Wedgie's house (Wedge really, but we call him Wedgie.  He's in my bass class) so I went with him.  "Why?", you ask.  Well........because um......well...you see..Wedgie has this really cool video game called Three X's.  It's where each person uses these three creatures and tries to defeat the other person's army of three.  He told me about it and I really wanted to play it.  We played it and played it until I looked at my watch.  It was 7:00 PM!!  Padmae says that we MUST be home by 6:30 every night (for supper)!  So, Luke and I made a hasty goodbye, and left.  Padmae wasn't happy with me, and said I was being a bad example to my son.  I went up to my room.  (She didn't ground me or anything, I just felt that it would be most diplomatic...)

Cool Guy 82

Today (as the title suggests) I played Luke's Cool Guy 82 video game on my Xbox.  It was fun, but not as fun as the Cool Guy 81 version.  In this one, you jumped over spikes and all that, but you didn't get to fight one on one with the villains.  I guess the reason they didn't let you do that is because they gave you a bonus level in which you defeated the "spike of all quests..."  Anyway, I thought it was ridiculous.  (Or, as I like to say when something has more than one thing in it that is ridiculous, I call it "ridiculi")

Wednesday

Wednesday is master Obi-Won's birthday.  I have no idea what I am going to give him...  I think maybe I'll give him one of those conFusion Razors.  He's so vain about his beard....

Currently in the Ship

I am writing this post in our ship. Padmae is driving, so this is the perfect opportunity. We left my parents house just now. My mom gave her grandchildren some going away presents. She gave Luke a myTunes gift card. She gave Lea a gift card to a store called "The Awesomest Fashion Outlet". Padmae wants to go shopping when we get home. I just want to eat a big chocolate cake. (I mean, I missed out on Luke's birthday cake!!!)

COOL!

We had Luke's birthday today. It was a small party, but a fun one! He had a Star Wars theme (how surprising!) for his party. Padmae and I gave him the Cool Guy 82 video game. Owen and Beroo gave him a Lego Star Wars video game (I will play it tonight when he's in bed! Just kidding...), and Lea gave him a new lightsaber that she bought at Lightsaber's 'R Us. It is a nice one. I have no idea how much she paid for it!!! My mom (Shmee) and stepdad gave him a cell phone that came with a free probe. They're called Probephones. They are not only cell phones, but you can also send that tiny probe anywhere in the galaxy and see what it sees by looking on the cell phone screen. (I am pretty sure Master Obi-Won will rent it from Luke so he can follow me to make sure I stay on my diets...)
Over all, it was a fun birthday. (I just hope Luke will let me borrow his presents every once in a while...)

Luke's Birthday Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Luke's birthday. After that, we will be leaving my mom's place. I wanted to invite Kickstir to Luke's birthday, but Padmae said, "Anikin, this is not your birthday, this is for Luke!"
She had to say the same thing to Lea when she wanted the theme to be fashionable clothing. I think everybody knows what I bought for Luke. Actually, that was a present from Padmae and me. (I mean, it was $50! I couldn't afford it. So Padmae and I struck a deal: I find it, she buys it!) Owen and Beroo are still here with their son Mark. I hope Luke has a great bday!!!

Sorry!!!

I apologize!  I goofed off so much yesterday I forgot about writing a post!  What I did was write a couple of comments on my blog, and then my family and I went to a Tatouine Amusement Park for the rest of the day.  When we got back home my mom made roast beef.  I was so happy she forgot about her salad ideas that I forgot totally about writing a post.  Sorry!!!

My Mom's Campaign

I believe that, due to my mom's new campaign, my stay here may be quite short!  But Padmae said that we should stay until after Luke's birthday.  But still; does everyone think I'm fat?!  Well, I don't think master Obi-Won thought I was fat, he just thought I was getting slow.  (I'm not too sure about my mom's beliefs about my looks, though!)  I guess I should just sit back, relax and enjoy Luke's birthday (even if I get salad instead of cake!!!)

Salads. Who said I wanted anything to do with them??!!!

Okay! Today my mom has just been plain annoying! So I ran out of the house to write my post in the library. The thing is, she said that I needed to go on a diet this morning. (You know how much I like THOSE kind of suggestions!) I believe she is DETERMINED to give me salads and such all my stay here! Good Grief....

Smuggling Birthday Presents and Such...

Today, Luke and I went to the game store. Luke had the motive of buying the new Cool Guy 82 video game. I had an ulterior motive. You see, Lea's bought her gift for Luke's birthday, but I am not exactly on the ball. So as he was staring at the game (mouth watering) I snuck out of the store. I went to the game store across the street (competition!!) and bought his birthday present (Cool Guy 82). I had just smuggled it into my speeder, when Luke came up to me (hands on hips) and asked why I didn't stay with him. I told him I thought he was with me all the time. I think he fell for it!

Hanging Out At Mom's...

Today has been a relatively uneventful day. My mom made Danishes for breakfast, and then Luke, Owen, Mark, and I went outside and played some football until lunch. We had chili-cheese-dogs for lunch. I took my daily nap. Then we spent the afternoon watching TV. Luke's birthday is on Wednesday next week. We will probably celebrate it here...

Pork Loin and Podraces

Today we went to a local podrace. Of course, Sabulba won. I was sooo ticked off! I had half a mind to go down there and show him what was real podracing, and I was about to! But my mom said, "Ani, we are having pork loin for lunch. Wouldn't you prefer to come on home?"
I grudgingly agreed (pork loin is my favorite!). After lunch, I took a nap. Before I went to sleep, however, I heard Padmae say, "How do you do it, Shmee? I have got to learn some of your techniques for managing Anikin!"
I don't understand what she meant, but if we had had tuna for lunch instead of pork loin, I would have taught Sabulba what's what!!!

Mugshot Mania!

Whoa! We arrived at my parents' house yesterday afternoon. Goodness! Owen and Beroo were there. They were visiting my parents (they brought their son Mark) at the same time we were visiting (Mark was born a couple of years after Luke. So he's 15 years old). Luke had brought his digital camera on the trip and started snapping pictures left and right! We got some good mug shots of everyone. (I secretly got one of Luke with my cell phone). I will be uploading them to my photo blog soon, so look frequently! I think we are really gonna enjoy being here!
