Homework is TOUGH!!!

Yep, that's right! I am SOOOO tired of having to do this annoying stuff!  Master Wendu has been piling Jeddi homework on my like so many Christmas ornaments on a Christmas tree!  (Oh, wait, Christmas is over.  I need to start thinking OUTSIDE of the holiday season!).
Anyhoo, I am about to cry.  I am done.  I don't care if I never become a Master.  I just really want to be done with this...JUNK!

The Christmas Presents I got for everbody...

I got Padmae hair curlers.  (Her poodle broke her last set!)  I got Luke his own video game console (he will be going to the Space Academy next year!).  I got Lea a new bumper for her car (she had a fender bender!).
We had a gift exchange at the Jeddi temple.  I got Master Wendu.  So I bought him a huge pack of drumsticks.
I'll bet you are wondering how I was able to afford all this stuff.  Well, since Padmae has been buying all the birthday presents all year long (we have a deal where I pick the present and she pays for it) I have been able to save up my meager earnings as a Jeddi for Christmas.
We are having a New Year's party at our house on New Year's Eve.  I'm making a chocolate cake!  (Hey!  What makes you think I won't get a piece?!)))

Alright! Now my life can get back to "normal"...

Christmas is over! I mean, I love Christmas and all, but now no more unexpected travels and such. That is why I didn't write a post for a whole week. Because we were at my brother Owen's house for Christmas. We left on Sunday. I meant to write a post that day, but I forgot. And Padmae said "no excess junk". By "junk" she meant my laptop. Oh well...
Christmas was awesome! I got some shampoo for my hair, some picks for my bass, a thumb drive for my computer, Episode I from Star Wars, a leash for R2, a Wukerfilmydoodle house for my pet, and Padmae got me a tie (rats!). I love all my presents except the tie. Because now, I have a tie for my suit so Padmae can make me wear it. But, anyway, we had a blast a Christmas! Hope you did!

I Love Weather On Nabu

Right now, we are having snow. Padmae and Lea love it! Luke and I are just not interested. I mean, if it were in the middle of the day, when we could go outside and throw snowballs at each other, then maybe. But this started at 9:00 PM (and is still going)! It is way to dark to see enough to make a snowball let alone throw one! So, we are just playing video games until Padmae decides it is bedtime. But, hey! This is a great way to stay up late!

Christmas

Yes, I have already bought all my Christmas presents (thank goodness).  But our family is still undecided on where we will have it.  I hope we go to my mom's house.  (Then all I have to do is pack.  If they came here, I would have to do chores) :-(

Great Ideas Are One Thing...

But actually making them happen is another! Unfortunately, the rock band I play the bass for (Jammin' Jeddi) is not going to be able to finish our album this year. Why? Well, first of all, albums are a lot harder to finish than we thought. Secondly, master Wendu needs to save up his Jeddi income to buy some drum mics. And finally, master Yoduh broke his electric guitar. He has loads of money (being the TOP Jeddi...) but he takes FOREVER to decide on which to buy (I guess that's another reason he has loads of $$$). So we will probably have to make our album come out in 2009. (At least, I hope it won't have to wait 'till 2010!)

Last Night Went Well

Last night, the night that I had my "romantic at-home dinner" with Padmae, went well. She forgave me for throwing a fit over her dog using my toothbrush. And she was overjoyed that I washed her Jeddi Mart bags for her. (I just don't understand that part...) She then mentioned that she wants to start recycling. \:|
Anyway, I am glad she is happy with me. All's well that ends well!

Dinner

Tonight, I am making dinner. What happened is my 18 year old son (Luke) is sleeping over at Wedgie's house, and my 18 year old daughter (Lea) is going out with Hon, I have decided to make dinner. My Butler (See3P0) is taking R2 out to a movie. My wife is at her bi-weekly "Let's-Figure-Out-How-to-Vacuum-and-Dust-as-Quickly-As We-Can" club (a.k.a the "L.F.O.H.V.D.Q.W.C." club, or "Cleaning Club"). So I am setting up a romantic night. I have ordered flowers. (I even washed some Jeddi Mart bags. For some reason Padmae has this new thing where she washes those bags to reuse them...) I hope this will make Padmae more patient with me. (I blew up last night about her dog making an ...um... a MESS on my laptop!)

BTW: Wendu got back today from visiting his mom. She is better.

Out to the dog house with you!

Today has been a trying day. I am just about ready to throw Padmae's poodle out the window! That dog has destroyed our whole house (as See3P0 relates in his blog...)! But guess what he did this morning! He took my toothbrush and was brushing his teeth with it! (He has also shown the desire for his fur to be a little more trimmed. [I have hidden my razor!]) That dog would do well in a doghouse, but Padmae wouldn't hear of it!

I've Got Some Christmas Presents figured out...

That title pretty much speaks for itself, but, just for your sake, I will tell you whose presents I have figured out.

I decided to get See3P0...wait!  He reads this blog.  Forget it.  I will tell you after he opens it.  (Or maybe he will tell you on his blog...)

I decided to get Luke...HOLD IT!!!  I can't tell any Christmas presents on my blog (as it is so popular [among my family members]).  I will just tell you all after Christmas is over.  Sorry!

I'm Back!

I was off of (or rather banned from) the computer all last week. Padmae said I was getting addicted... Well, anyhoo, I am back! I will continue by daily posts.

It Just Occurred to me...

I am quite put out! Do all of my readers remember when Luke and Lea had their birthdays? They were more than a month apart!!! Now everyone knows that they are twins, right? So it was all a practical joke played on me by my whole family (including extended) to see if I would believe what Padmae said, or try to think logically. Well! Now I know I must do the latter because trusting Padmae is not always the best idea! So this is a warning to all you guys out there: keep a calender! Mark all birthdays and special events on it! Thankfully, I haven't yet forgotten our anniversary (which is in April)! (I gotta go right now and buy a calender for 2009!!!)

Thursday, December 4, 2008

Christmas is here!

We set up our decorations today. Man. That tree is a PAIN!!! Some lights go out, and make a whole branch go out. Then I have to try out different lights to see which ones are broken! (And I haven't even mentioned the lights on the ROOF!)

Oh, by the way, we finally named our rock band! Somebody mentioned "The Short Jeddi" (master Yoduh...) But that wasn't quite accurate. Someone mentioned "The Smart, the Talented, and the Hungry..." (Who, me?) And someone mentioned "Those with purple lightsabers..." (Guess who...) Finally, we came up with "Jammin' Jeddi". Like it?

A Pampered Poodle Among Us!

Padmae's newest pest - uh, PET (did I say pest?) is really getting spoiled. Of course, yesterday we HAD to go out and buy the very best dog food. Then go to Petsmart and buy about 14 toys. Then go home and let Padmae cuddle him to death! She named her new poodle Fuzzy.

Tuesday, December 2, 2008

THAT was a close call...

Whew! When Padmae got back yesterday and saw the dog that I "brought" home with me, her eyes turned into little hearts (not literally [sheesh, do I always have to say that?]) and she said, "Oh how cute!" We are somehow collecting queer pets! (Dood, Fuzzy (the dog's name), See3P0...)

Monday, December 1, 2008

Um, Shoo!

Oh, I hope this turns out alright! I was taking Dood out for a walk this morning, and a dog (yes we have dogs in our galaxy...) showed up. He walked along with us for a while. Then, when we got home, he acted like he OWNED the place! I am frantically trying to clean up his messes that he made all over the carpet! (Padmae is at the store...) Yikes!

Bye Again

Wendu is going to Hothe tomorrow to visit his mom. She is sick. He is going to bring her his famous potato soup. I just hope something like what happened last time he was gone won't happen again!

Saturday, November 29, 2008

Christmas is coming up!

Christmas is - oh, anyway. I need to come up with ideas for the following people:

  1. Padmae
  2. Lea
  3. Luke
  4. My mom and dad
  5. Owen's fam
  6. Obi-Wan
  7. Master Wendu
  8. Master Yoduh
  9. Master Ki-Adi-Mundee
  10. Master Siri
  11. um, help!

It's Crazy!

This is nuts! I wish my family would make up their minds! At first, we decided to have thanksgiving at our house, but then, Sunday night, my wife decided she felt bad that she had forced my mom to have Thanksgiving at our house. So we left that night to go to my mom's house on Taouine. We stayed there until thanksgiving. We just got back today. Sheesh! This is annoying. (Not only that, but Padmae wants me to take a week off my blog. Says I'm getting addicted...)

Monday, November 24, 2008

It's Hard Work

Since we are going to have our family Thanksgiving here, Padmae is going to cook the turkey. Normally our butler/cook (See3P0) does the cooking for us, but last Thanksgiving, he burned the turkey, so Padmae is taking charge this time. Lea is making her famous sweet potatoes, and Luke is making the desserts. What will I do? Well, I am going to take charge of buying the cokes...

Sunday, November 23, 2008

Going Green...or rather FLUORESCENT!

Today, Luke and I went to the hardware store. (Padmae said we should do something new, adventurous, and out of our comfort zone: help her!) We are looking for some light bulbs (fluorescents because Padmae is "all for the environment" and she wants to save electricity [not to mention $$$!]) We will go home when we find them. Guess who's going to install them? Yours Truly...

Unplanned Trip

I am soo sorry I have not written a post for a WHOLE WEEK!!! What happened is this: after Padmae got the latest email from my mom saying that it would be most fun to have Thanksgiving there, Padmae decided we should have a family meeting (as in EXTENDED family) to decide where to have thanksgiving. So we went to Tatouine. We left so unexpectedly that I wasn't able to bring my laptop to make daily posts. Why did it take so long to get back? Well, when we got there, we had a long argument (Padmae called it a discussion, but I am realistic!) about where we would have Thanksgiving. We finally decided to have it at our house (oh joy, MORE chores!). But my mom said, "Since you are here, why don't you just stay for a week or so." (Padmae saw through this scheme that was intended to make us stay until thanksgiving!) Padmae said "NO!". But I put my foot down. I said, "We don't have to stay until thanksgiving, but just a couple more days." (My mom makes awesome fried chicken!) So we stayed. All week! My mom was so happy we were staying that she did not make me eat salads! We got back yesterday. Chores, here I come!!!

Thanksgiving...

You know, Thanksgiving is always such a big deal in my family. My mom wants it at her place, Owen says that we go to her place ENOUGH and we should congregate at his homestead. I don't care, but Padmae always wants it here! Sheesh! I hope this blows over soon, or I'll go crazy!

Saturday, November 15, 2008

Ahh!

Today we got back from our trip to my mom's house. As soon as I got back, I took a nap. Now I am ready for anything...even another "fun" birthday party!

Friday, November 14, 2008

Grrr!

Yesterday we had my mom's birthday party. Of course, since she is "one of those fun types"she played with them right away! (I "did" several embarrassing "whoopies!" on her whoopie cushion!) My wife, Padmae, got sprayed with the camera (because it looks so much like my mom's camera!) and Luke and Lea got snapped with the gum thing. I am soooo crabby right now. (Of course, everybody else just laughed it off, but I got the WHOOPIE CUSHION!)

Thursday, November 13, 2008

Oh, I'm REALLY Looking Foward to THIS!

Yesterday, after we had found R2De2, we left to go to my parent's house for my mom's birthday. It will probably it took a whole 30 minute drive as my mom's house is on Tatouine and it is a long ways away. We will have the birthday today because we were (according to her) "tired after the trip..." I think she will enjoy the presents Padmae and I bought her. Oh dear... I hope she doesn't want to play with them until we are gone!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

Is it really worth it?

Whew! I have found R2De2. He was on the death star eating Darth Sideous' famous Banana Pudding. The pudding made him sleepy, so he slept over. (Thankfully, Darth Sideous was too busy trying to teach his orchestra how to play actual music when he flails his arms around to notice R2!) Thanks Storm Troop for telling us where he was!

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Banana Pudding?

R2 is still gone. I sent a search party for him. (I have my suspicions that he is on the death star.) Storm Troop has said that he auto pilots my jedi starship over to the death star every tuesday for banana pudding (?). I will go over there and check it out. Somebody once said, "You know, that droid (meaning R2) has caused me a lot of trouble!"
Want to know who? His name was Luke Skywalker. He said it in Episode IV.

Monday, November 10, 2008

Lost

Yesterday, See3P0 and R2 went to Hothe to (what he called) "check up" on the Rebel base. (Really, I think See3 just wanted to see this protocol droid that he has been going out with recently. She lives on Hothe) Anyway, I think he misplaced R2. Though the latter is naughty sometimes, he is really great guy...er- robot. I miss him...

Sunday, November 9, 2008

Hello...Bye!

I am very busy right now. I just stopped by the house to get some dinner and to go out again. Since today is a day of rest, and I don't have any Jeddi homework, Master Yoduh, Master Wendu, and I have been practicing some songs for our band the live long day! Bye!

Saturday, November 8, 2008

One of those "fun" types...

Since my mom is one of those "fun" types (as mentioned), I got her a bag filled with fun practical jokes. She's got a: whoopie cushion, one of those gum things that snaps your hand when you try to grab a piece of gum, a camera that shoots water, a flashlight that electrocutes you, and a mouse trap. Don't ask me what she will do with them. I will just wait to visit them 'till after she breaks all her new toys!

Friday, November 7, 2008

Yikes!

Yikes!  Next Wednesday is my mom's birthday!  She is such a fan crazy parties (I just don't understand it).  The Star Warz' portrayal of her was sooo unrealistic.  She is not that quiet!  I wouldn't mind her wanting a crazy party, except that, she will probably invite us!  Padmae and the kids will enjoy it, but not me!  (I'm more of the relax-in-front-of-the-TV type myself...)

Thursday, November 6, 2008

Nearing the end...

Tonight is my last bass lesson. It's a pity. It was pretty fun! (Though, by far, not as - um - interesting as Mrs. Harding's ballet class!) However, I now consider myself a pro on the electric bass. Now Master Yoduh, Master Wendu, and I can finally start getting professional recordings!
(We need help coming up with a name for our band! Any suggestions?)

"I'm 'Burning' with love for you..."

Last Night, Lea and Hon went to a Mexican restaurant for dinner. From what Lea said, it went pretty well. After all, Hon did not get mad at the cooks for putting to much hot sauce on his Chicken. (But after having the sauce, I wish he hadn't sneezed! It will be expensive to replace the charred remains of the table!)

Luke is Leaving Later (Good Grief! 3 L's!)

Luke is leaving later to go to Tatouine so that he can replenish my Wukerfilmydoodle's food supply. That kid is awesome. I will miss him when he leaves to go to the Space Academy College. Thankfully, that is not in the immediate future...
Speaking of future, Hon and Lea are going out on Friday. They will be going to a Mexican restaurant so that Hon can try hot sauce this time...

Monday, November 3, 2008

THANKS Master Siri...

Last night, we had our party in our living room. Master Yoduh did not spill any red punch on the floor. But Master Siri did. What happened was this: Master Siri was going over to talk to master Wendu, but did not see master Yoduh on the floor looking under the couch. He was trying to coax my Wukerfilmydoodle to come out so that he could pet him. Master Siri tripped and she spilled some punch on the floor. Now, I am in trouble...because I was the one who suggested Padmae invite the Jeddi council over to the party. Oh great...

Sunday, November 2, 2008

Let's PARTY!

Tonight, we are having a party in our newly designed living room. (Padmae did the designing) We are having the whole Jeddi council over, Wedgie, and Captain Panoka over. (Unfortunately, we are having salad along with the fried chicken). I just hope Master Yoduh (he has shaky joints) will not spill anything on Padmae's new carpet. She would have a COW!!!

Saturday, November 1, 2008

The Time Has Come...

The time has come. My food supply for my Wukerfilmydoodle is getting smaller. I need it to be replenished. Luke has graciously offered to go again.
And - NO, I did NOT bribe him! (I just told him he could play with my Xbox whenever he wanted.)

Friday, October 31, 2008

Game Room. YES!!!

I checked out the new game room in the Jeddi council today. It was pretty cool. They had three video game consoles, 5 computers, and board games galore! (Though the board games weren't too fun by myself. I guess everyone else was busy) They had the Three X's video game (and all the Star Warz video games). It was pretty fun. I love the new addition to the Jeddi Temple.

Out Again...

Tonight, Hon and Lea are going out AGAIN!  This time, it's to the theater, then Smuggler's Depot so Hon can buy a power converter.  It's not that they have been out together that often this week, it's just that I am getting a little irritated with Honnie-Boo (as Lea calls him...).  The reason I am irritated is that he has not asked her to marry him YET!  I like him okay, and he'd be a fun son-in-law, but I don't see any change in the horizon.  Oh well, I guess Lea will have to spend the rest of her life unmarried, going out with a DROID!

(Tonight's my Bass lessons.)

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Disobedience!

Yesterday, I went to Wedgie's house to avoid having to deal with the designers all day. Since I was gone, I left See3P0 in charge of R2De2. That droid (R2) is soooo annoying! He destroyed See3's computer because he wanted to play "Blaster Boyz" (a computer game). Sheesh! I wouldn't have been upset at See3, but since the latter couldn't use his computer to write a post, he used MINE!!! (I scolded him, but with R2, I sent him to stand in the corner!)
But, anyway, we finally got our living room redesigned! It is actually very nice. I wasn't too excited about the idea, but I think it is growing on me. (I mean, I love the idea of a snack bar in the living room!)

Designers & Architects

Several weeks ago, Master Obi-Won, Shock Ti, and I went on out business trip to Moss Eyesley to find an architect for the new game room in the Jeddi temple.  Not long after that, Padmae decided that she wanted to redo our living room.  I guess you might call her a designer as well.  An eccentric one.  (I mean, those chairs she picked were WEIRD!)  Anyway, today, not only the architect, but the designer for the new game room in the Jeddi temple is coming.  And the one for re-designing our living room (her name is Padmae) is working on our house today as well.  As I am not that fond of going to the carpet store to buy new carpet (as I am fond of the old one) I will probably (since another designer will be at the Jeddi temple) go hide out at Wedgie's house.

Monday, October 27, 2008

Whew!

Padmae just got back from her trip. She took an early spacebus and got here at 8! In the six o' clock hour, I took See3P0 to Tatouine for his first vacation in 20 something years! (For some reason, he said he would prefer to take the bus next time...)
To get back to Padmae, I am so glad she is back. She said she thought it was because I wanted chocolate pudding, but I have more important reasons...
(No! It is not because I want her to take over all her jobs. I really missed her when she was gone...)

Sunday, October 26, 2008

Auuuuugh!!!!

I am about to go NUTS!!! I know it is only 7 in the morning, but I am thinking about all I will have to do today!!! Plus, since Padmae is gone, I do not get my daily rations of PUDDING (sugar) every day to keep me going! Thank goodness she will be back tomorrow!

Saturday, October 25, 2008

Good Grief!

Today, Luke and Lea have been just plain ANNOYING! At breakfast I looked in the bread box to see if we had any bread so I could make my toast. There wasn't any. I must have looked perplexed, because Lea said, "Oh, mom makes bread every morning."
I thought oh dear! But then I thought, no biggie, I can manage for myself while Padmae is gone! So I made our bread for breakfast. (But, man! That troublesome mixer is hard to use! I mean, I wouldn't have minded cleaning bread dough off the floor, but the ceiling?!!)
Anyway, after breakfast, I went to sit down in the living room and Luke came in.
"Oh dad, uh...mom normally waters her garden after breakfast."
I was getting a little ticked off by now. I had had to make breakfast, clean up the mess, and now I had to WATER THE GARDEN?!! But then I thought, no biggie, I can handle this. So I went to water the garden. I had to change clothes afterwords though (we have a VERY powerful spray nozzle!).
I finally sat down at the computer and was going to write my post for today, when suddenly, Lea burst into the room and demanded where her nice dress was. I said that I didn't know, honey. And she said, "What?! You mean you haven't WASHED THE CLOTHES yet??!!"
So, all in all, I have cooked, cleaned, watered, washed, dusted, wiped, baked, and pruned all in ONE DAY!!! I don't see how Padmae does it! I cannot wait 'till she gets home! (Will I live through until the end of the weekend, I wonder?)

Friday, October 24, 2008

"Down Under"

Padmae just left for the "underside" of Nabu. She is visiting her sister Solah. (No, she is not taking her ancient ship that she got at a used ship sale that goes about 30 miles an hour! She is taking the bus) I will miss her. I don't know how I will do without her for a whole weekend! (She makes great chocolate pudding...)

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Got Veggies?

I have been having SOME PROBLEMS with my diet. Now, of course, he (Obi-Won) now lets me have sweets (only once a day!) he lets me watch "more" TV programs (only 3 a day!), and my miles have been getting better. But, sheesh! Padmae has been growing spinach, squash, lettuce, and all sorts of "great" food to eat. She tells me to eat them because, you know, I don't want to get fat (she says). I just wish I could counteract the veggies with some fudge. *Sigh*...

(But hey! I just remembered, Padmae is going on a trip tomorrow [to visit her sister Solah on the other side of Nabu]! Veggie free weekend, here I come!!!)

Latest Updates On What's Going On...

I am writing a post to help you all catch up on all that's going on.

Hon and Lea are still going out together. Hon is saving up to buy a new ship. (I personally wish he would save his money and buy a RING!)

My Wukerfilmydoodle is acting interesting. I wish he would just act like a normal pet. It's not that he does anything that annoying, and I wouldn't mind him being weird. (But playing video games at odd hours of the night is a little bit irritating!!!)

Master Wendu, Master Yoduh, and I have a band, and are almost done with our debut album...Well...not ALMOST... Uh, does 2 songs count as almost?...

Anyway, we need to come up with a name for it. Any suggestions?

Padmae is going on a trip soon. She is going to visit her sister, Solah on the other side of Nabu. I don't think it will be THAT hard to keep things together until she gets back...

That's what's going on right now. I will continue keep you updated on recent developments.

Lea's Birthday

Today we had Lea's birthday. Of course, she had a fashion themed party. I guess it was her turn! She enjoyed the presents she got. She just LOVED the one Padmae and I got her. Luke gave her the newest CD from her favorite band, Shooting Stars. (I personally don't see why she likes it. It's just a lot of screaming and yelling! I myself am personally a fan of The Bleach Boys...) Uncle Owen and Beroo gave her a CD player for her ship. Her grandparents gave her some money to buy some "fashionable" clothes. I just hope she doesn't come back from the store with anything weirder than that hat!

Monday, October 20, 2008

Hmmm... Very - ah - INTERESTING...

Today I bought Lea, for her birthday, a hat. For some reason, these freaky designs of hats are getting POPULAR!!! What the hat is is this huge thing (it cost $34!) with 3d spaceships and planets all over the top. It looks like it was created when a toy shop exploded! I just don't understand the youth of our time!

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Another Birthday??!!

Yep! That's right. Lea is having a birthday Tuesday. Which gives Padmae and me little chance to buy her a present. Actually; just me! (Padmae and I have this deal where she pays for the present and I find it. I am not very creative; but then, I am not that rich either! So I just picked the easiest side of the bargain!!!) I might buy her a dress from the newest fashions. (Osh-Gosh Pish-Posh has some designs she would LOVE!) But I just hesitate to go into the women's clothing aisles in any store. Because all the ladies shopping there look at me like I would look kind of cute in the clothes that are sold there. I always wish I had a sign saying, "This is for my DAUGHTER'S BIRTHDAY!!!"

Rock On ! ! !

In a couple of minutes, I embark on a short trip to the Jeddi temple. Why? Well, because Master Yoduh, Master Wendu and I have a rock band. (I play the bass, Master Yo plays the electric guitar, and Master Wendu plays the drums) We need to get together so we can get some songs down, and thus, get out our DEBUT ALBUM!!! It is titled Time To Relax. (What makes you think I came up with the title????)

Poor Kid...

Master Wendu just got back from his trip to some place called Hawaii in another galaxy. I know this (that he got back that is) because we got a telephone call around 4 and Luke answered it. He said "yes sir" several times than looked really disappointed. I found out from him that he had been demoted from his position as master. I now feel really bad about complaining so much. I guess I should apologize to Luke. Poor buddy. (Of course, Master Yoduh got chewed out a good bit as well!)

Today

We are going to the furniture store today and to buy the "Star Trek" chairs for our living room redo.  Padmae had found them in the Galaxy Market catalog that she gets monthly.  She loved them so much that she decided to go to the Galaxy Market today.

Tonight is my bass lesson.  Yes!  I am still doing them!  I have gotten down some tunes and can read notes.  I think our Jeddi rock band (we really should come up with a name for it) is going to start recording soon!  Since I missed so many of them, my teacher helped me catch up with the rest of the group by teaching me on Saturdays.  I can't wait until I actually learn the bass!

Living Room Redo

Padmae decided to redo our living room. Now, she is not doing it as...ah--unique as Master Wendu did the Jeddi Temple back in July. But she wants to get this ugly brown carpet. Well... at least I think it is ugly. (I call it brown; she calls it beige...). She is also picking some weird chairs that she thinks look cool. I think they look like something from an old Star Trek show... I guess it is her money, she can do whatever she wants with it. I guess it's good that she has something to keep her occupied. Because I don't mind what she does with the living room. Just as long as she leaves my video game habits ALONE!!!

That Is TOTALLY NOT FAIR!!!!

Yesterday, the Jeddi council held an "important meeting". Luke was (for some reason) invited. When I went, I found that our chairman (Master Wendu) was on a vacation to a different galaxy (they said that he was going to some place called Hawaii). He is supposed to get back on Friday. So, Master Yoduh was made chairman in his place until he got home. Master Yoduh has this thing that he thinks Luke should be promoted to master. So...yep! You guessed it! LUKE IS NOW A MASTER!!! I am sooo mad! I am his DAD and I am STILL a plain old Jeddi Knight Padiwan! Grrrrr!

No Place Like Home!

Master Obi-Won, Shock Ti, and I got back from our business trip Yesterday.  Yes, my family and I had our family night just before I went to bed.  I was exhausted!  We found an architect, so we are planning to build the game room soon.  The Jeddi council called an "important meeting" for later today.  I wonder what that is all about...

Getting Ready

Tomorrow, Master Obi-Won, Shock Ti, and I embark on our Business Trip to Moss Eyesley.  I forgot about writing a post all yesterday morning, and then in the afternoon, Padmae asked be to mow the lawn.  When I got back inside, I only had enough energy to eat dinner and jump into bed.  I have to go and pack (Padmae is telling me not to forget extra pairs of underwear).  Gotta Go!  See you guys when I return.  (Master Obi-Won told me to take as little as possible, so, NO LAPTOP!)

A Great Birthday Party

Today was Padmae's birthday. I gave her her favorite book. Luke and Lea pooled their resources and gave her an "island" thing for her kitchen. My mom and step-dad gave her a whole new wardrobe (how much money do they have anyway?) And Captain Panoka gave her a really pretty blaster, with a leather holster. She was so happy with her presents that she let me go out an buy some fudge (to go with the three-layer cake Master Obi-Won sent!) It was a great birthday party!

"Mystery in the Nutty House"

As Mike suggested, I bought Padmae's favorite book (Mystery in the Nutty House) for her birthday tomorrow. I hope she likes it. Thanks for your ideas!

The Clone Wars

Today, Master Obi-Won and I went to the theaters and watched the movie that I acted in called The Clone Wars. I know, I know, it was only an animation. But I did Anikin's--ahem! MY voice! Master Obi-Won used his voice talent in it too. I am glad it turned out so well! ;D It was a pain to finish! George is one tough director!!!

Business Trip

On Monday next week, Master Obi-Won, Shock Ti, and I embark on a business trip to Nabu Moss Eyesley. What we will be doing is trying to find an architect for the Jeddi temple. Because Master Wendu wants to add a game room to it. (And everybody knows that the best architects are on Nabu Moss Eyesley!) We might not get back for a while. We will be dedicated to our search though.

Wedgie Again...

I'll bet you noticed that I did not write a post yesterday. Well, that's because Wedgie (Wedge) came over to play with Luke. Since he is in my bass class, I felt that he was partly my friend too. (Not to mention I went over to his house once to play his Three X's video game!) So Luke and I goofed of with him all afternoon. So by the time he left, I had no time to write a post. Sorry about that...

Emergency Meeting

Alright: a quick post!  The Jeddi council called an "emergency meeting" for tonight!  We are going: Bowling!  I will probably lose 'cause master Yoduh is a "master" at using the force!  But it will be fun just the same!  Gotta go!

A Take-Out Box Please

Hon and Lea are going out tomorrow night. They are going to a Chinese restaurant. Lea is a little nervous, though. Because Hon is planning to try (for the first time) to use chopsticks. Lea isn't worried he'll goof off... She's just worried he'll get mad at the chopsticks, shoot them (in front of everybody in the restaurant!), and then calmly ask for a take-out box. She tried suggesting that they go to an Italian restaurant. But Hon's mind is made up!

Family Nights

Padmae recently came up with (what she called) a great idea. She wants us to have "family nights" every Sunday night. "That means no TV (Lea), NO Jeddi councils (Ani), and no video games (Luke). We will eat dinner together and then play board games or something..."
I guess I like the idea. I will just have to cancel my dentist appointment for this week. I just hope Dr. Andrews doesn't cry too much...

The "Sea of Birthdays" is turning into a TIDAL WAVE!!!

Padmae's birthday is coming up soon!  Oh dear!  This is (what I call) a sea of birthdays!  Her birthday is on Friday next week.  I HAVE to figure out a romantic present to give her on this occasion!  I need ideas!  I can't just give her Cool Guy 82 or Jeddi Boots...  I have to give her something special!  I would appreciate help...

Hotdogs and Homeruns

My post is so late today because Luke's baseball team had their first game this afternoon. It was great. Luke was good. He did not make any home runs. He kept to his word that he would not use his force powers. (Of course his team lost, but, hey! he got to play, right?) I bought a hot dog. It tasted like cardboard. I guess that's because I was feeling guilty about it. I love baseball!!! I came up with an almost original theme song for it:
"Take me out to the ballgame...take me out to the crowds...Buy me some hotdogs that don't taste so good...'Cause my diet was not followed like it should......"

100th Post!!!

This is my 100th Post!!!

But, to make a "100th Post", I need to actually write one. Thus:

Today I have taken Dood to the vet to get his shots. He goofed off and seemed more interested in watching Lord of the Rings on the TV in the lobby than going into the office (so would I if shots were involved!). Finally he got his shots and I took him home. He's a great pet!

Unfair Advantage

All the 19 year old boys in our neighborhood are getting together a baseball team.  Luke is hoping he won't be disqualified just because he is a Jeddi.  One of the rules about baseball (made in our galaxy around 1950) says that Jeddi are not allowed to play baseball because their force powers make their team invincible!  I hope they'll make an exception for Luke.  Luke is, at the moment, begging the guy who's in charge to let him do it.  He is saying (and I quote) "Please!  I promise not to use my force powers!"  I guess--...what's that?  You think I'm listening through the keyhole?  Why would I do that?...

"Football Injury"

Yesterday we did our "spring" cleaning. Well, this morning, Padmae went outside to look at the garage and liked it sooo much....she wanted to get rid of some stuff we have in our attic. I wouldn't normally mind, but she got rid of my football trophy I got when I was 14! (I got it because I made the most goals [I know I shouldn't have used my force, but, hey...it's only a game, right?]). I was so sad I didn't even play video games all day. Padmae felt so sorry for me that she fished it out of the garbage can and said, "We'll throw something else out, Ani." So I'm going to get up early tomorrow morning to catch up on my video gaming!

It Sure Doesn't Look Like Spring to ME

Today, Padmae decided to do her "spring cleaning". Actually, I call it "summer going on fall cleaning". She says that we didn't do it this spring...so we need to catch up. It has taken me a while to write a post 'cause when ever I sit down at my laptop she says, "Oh, Ani, could you ______" (Fill in the blank) I finally finished all the: vacuuming, dusting, sorting, alphabetizing, scrubbing spraying, etc. etc.... So NOW I can write a post. Thankfully, this kind of work only comes once a year....

Unexpected Birthday Party

Yesterday (as said) I went to Jeddi Mart to buy a conFusion Razor for Master Obi-Won for his birthday.  After that, I went to his house to give it to him (don't worry; I sat in the driveway and wrapped it up first!).  I went up the driveway and knocked on his door.  He opened it (he looked like he had just gotten up [I think he was planning on having a quiet birthday]).  I said "happy birthday!" and handed him his present.  He asked me if I could come in.  I said "sure!".  Just as we were sitting down at his table and he was about to open my present, there was a knock at the door.  He opened it.  It was master Ki-Adi-Mundee (also bearing a gift).  Obi-Won said the same thing to him as he had to me.  Master Ki-Adi-Mundee said he would "be delighted to come in...".  Just as we were all sitting down again, the doorbell rang.  It turned out to be Master Yoduh (also bearing gifts)....  All 4 of us were about to sit down when Master Wendu showed up (with icecream, cake, and a present).  People kept on coming until Master Obi-Won looked like he was about to cry.  Apparently he had planned a quiet birthday.  So, Master Wendu took charge; "Alright everybody!  How about some cake?"  So everyone had cake, ice cream, and then, were gone.  Only Obi-Won, Master Wendu, and I were left.  Finally, I said, "Happy Birthday Master Obi-Won!"  He gave me a weak smile, and Wendu and I left.  I feel sorry for Master Obi-Won (but at least now he can play with all his toys in peace!).

Oh Deary Me!

TODAY is Master Obi-Won's bday!!! I haven't yet bought him a present! Yikes! I'd better go out and buy him one of those conFusion Razors for his beard. Right away! I'll talk later about his reaction....

Note: I am nearing my 100th hit on my hit counter!

Wedgie's Cool Video Game

"Why did he not write a post yesterday?" you may ask...  Well, let me explain: Luke wanted to visit Wedgie's house (Wedge really, but we call him Wedgie.  He's in my bass class) so I went with him.  "Why?", you ask.  Well........because um......well...you see..Wedgie has this really cool video game called Three X's.  It's where each person uses these three creatures and tries to defeat the other person's army of three.  He told me about it and I really wanted to play it.  We played it and played it until I looked at my watch.  It was 7:00 PM!!  Padmae says that we MUST be home by 6:30 every night (for supper)!  So, Luke and I made a hasty goodbye, and left.  Padmae wasn't happy with me, and said I was being a bad example to my son.  I went up to my room.  (She didn't ground me or anything, I just felt that it would be most diplomatic...)

Cool Guy 82

Today (as the title suggests) I played Luke's Cool Guy 82 video game on my Xbox.  It was fun, but not as fun as the Cool Guy 81 version.  In this one, you jumped over spikes and all that, but you didn't get to fight one on one with the villains.  I guess the reason they didn't let you do that is because they gave you a bonus level in which you defeated the "spike of all quests..."  Anyway, I thought it was ridiculous.  (Or, as I like to say when something has more than one thing in it that is ridiculous, I call it "ridiculi")

Wednesday

Wednesday is master Obi-Won's birthday.  I have no idea what I am going to give him...  I think maybe I'll give him one of those conFusion Razors.  He's so vain about his beard....

Currently in the Ship

I am writing this post in our ship. Padmae is driving, so this is the perfect opportunity. We left my parents house just now. My mom gave her grandchildren some going away presents. She gave Luke a myTunes gift card. She gave Lea a gift card to a store called "The Awesomest Fashion Outlet". Padmae wants to go shopping when we get home. I just want to eat a big chocolate cake. (I mean, I missed out on Luke's birthday cake!!!)

COOL!

We had Luke's birthday today. It was a small party, but a fun one! He had a Star Wars theme (how surprising!) for his party. Padmae and I gave him the Cool Guy 82 video game. Owen and Beroo gave him a Lego Star Wars video game (I will play it tonight when he's in bed! Just kidding...), and Lea gave him a new lightsaber that she bought at Lightsaber's 'R Us. It is a nice one. I have no idea how much she paid for it!!! My mom (Shmee) and stepdad gave him a cell phone that came with a free probe. They're called Probephones. They are not only cell phones, but you can also send that tiny probe anywhere in the galaxy and see what it sees by looking on the cell phone screen. (I am pretty sure Master Obi-Won will rent it from Luke so he can follow me to make sure I stay on my diets...)
Over all, it was a fun birthday. (I just hope Luke will let me borrow his presents every once in a while...)

Luke's Birthday Tomorrow

Tomorrow is Luke's birthday. After that, we will be leaving my mom's place. I wanted to invite Kickstir to Luke's birthday, but Padmae said, "Anikin, this is not your birthday, this is for Luke!"
She had to say the same thing to Lea when she wanted the theme to be fashionable clothing. I think everybody knows what I bought for Luke. Actually, that was a present from Padmae and me. (I mean, it was $50! I couldn't afford it. So Padmae and I struck a deal: I find it, she buys it!) Owen and Beroo are still here with their son Mark. I hope Luke has a great bday!!!

Sorry!!!

I apologize!  I goofed off so much yesterday I forgot about writing a post!  What I did was write a couple of comments on my blog, and then my family and I went to a Tatouine Amusement Park for the rest of the day.  When we got back home my mom made roast beef.  I was so happy she forgot about her salad ideas that I forgot totally about writing a post.  Sorry!!!

My Mom's Campaign

I believe that, due to my mom's new campaign, my stay here may be quite short!  But Padmae said that we should stay until after Luke's birthday.  But still; does everyone think I'm fat?!  Well, I don't think master Obi-Won thought I was fat, he just thought I was getting slow.  (I'm not too sure about my mom's beliefs about my looks, though!)  I guess I should just sit back, relax and enjoy Luke's birthday (even if I get salad instead of cake!!!)

Friday, September 5, 2008

Salads. Who said I wanted anything to do with them??!!!

Okay! Today my mom has just been plain annoying! So I ran out of the house to write my post in the library. The thing is, she said that I needed to go on a diet this morning. (You know how much I like THOSE kind of suggestions!) I believe she is DETERMINED to give me salads and such all my stay here! Good Grief....

Smuggling Birthday Presents and Such...

Today, Luke and I went to the game store. Luke had the motive of buying the new Cool Guy 82 video game. I had an ulterior motive. You see, Lea's bought her gift for Luke's birthday, but I am not exactly on the ball. So as he was staring at the game (mouth watering) I snuck out of the store. I went to the game store across the street (competition!!) and bought his birthday present (Cool Guy 82). I had just smuggled it into my speeder, when Luke came up to me (hands on hips) and asked why I didn't stay with him. I told him I thought he was with me all the time. I think he fell for it!

Hanging Out At Mom's...

Today has been a relatively uneventful day. My mom made Danishes for breakfast, and then Luke, Owen, Mark, and I went outside and played some football until lunch. We had chili-cheese-dogs for lunch. I took my daily nap. Then we spent the afternoon watching TV. Luke's birthday is on Wednesday next week. We will probably celebrate it here...

Pork Loin and Podraces

Today we went to a local podrace. Of course, Sabulba won. I was sooo ticked off! I had half a mind to go down there and show him what was real podracing, and I was about to! But my mom said, "Ani, we are having pork loin for lunch. Wouldn't you prefer to come on home?"
I grudgingly agreed (pork loin is my favorite!). After lunch, I took a nap. Before I went to sleep, however, I heard Padmae say, "How do you do it, Shmee? I have got to learn some of your techniques for managing Anikin!"
I don't understand what she meant, but if we had had tuna for lunch instead of pork loin, I would have taught Sabulba what's what!!!

Mugshot Mania!

Whoa! We arrived at my parents' house yesterday afternoon. Goodness! Owen and Beroo were there. They were visiting my parents (they brought their son Mark) at the same time we were visiting (Mark was born a couple of years after Luke. So he's 15 years old). Luke had brought his digital camera on the trip and started snapping pictures left and right! We got some good mug shots of everyone. (I secretly got one of Luke with my cell phone). I will be uploading them to my photo blog soon, so look frequently! I think we are really gonna enjoy being here!

Gotta Go

ANOTHER post for today:
I gotta go. We are leaving for my mom's house. She and Clegg (my stepdad) haven't seen Luke and Lea in forever. (Actually, just Lea, they saw Luke in June) We will bring a camera and take some photos. I will upload them to my photo blog when we get back. (Or maybe I can upload them there.) I am taking my laptop so that I can still make daily posts. We will be there for an unsure amount of time. So, give my love to the Jeddi council Siri!

Family Photo

This is the photo of my family. Hon jumped in at the last minute. (What I don't understand is Luke and Hon's joke about bunny ears...)

My Fam

Today we got the photo that we took on Wednesday (I mean, it had to develop). I have to go now because the Jeddi council is having our fun night tonight. So, I can't upload it now. To bowling and beyond!

"Like-A-Father" and Son Outing...

Last night, Obi-Won and I went on a father-son outing. I know he isn't my father, but (as I said in the third Episode) "You're like a father to me..." So, he counts! We had a blast, and yes, he let me buy popcorn. We went to the theater (where I bought popcorn), and saw a dumb movie about monkeys dressed up as storm troopers and taking over the world... (I think it was by Wrinkled Arts [same people who made Wading Through Water!]) We went to a Chinese Restaurant afterwards, and ate noodles and drank coke. (For dessert [on Obi-Won] I had Chocolate cake!). Yes, we had a blast as "Like-A-Father" and son!!!

Council For Fun Night

Last night, the Jeddi council held a council for what to do for a Jeddi fun night this week. We had finally decided on going to a movie when I brought up that I am going Thursday (tonight actually,) with Obi-Won for a "father" son outing. (Unfortunately, I will miss my bass lessons tonight!) (I'm excited about it! Maybe he'll let me have popcorn!) So we finally decided on bowling. That is not what I had in mind! Parcheesi wasn't fair when we did it in July because of force powers! All I know is I'm not betting on who will win like I did last time!

What?! AGAIN?!

What?! AGAIN?! (Oh wait, I already said that!) Anyway, Padmae asked me today why Master Ki-Adi-Mundee called me a while ago. I said that he was telling me that he needed me for the Class Photo 2008 that we would take that day. That the hired photographer was ready and everthing. Padmae said what?! A hired photographer is in the neighborhood?!!! (Me and my big mouth!) She logged onto my photo blog to see the photo. She loved it and said she wanted one of our family. I groaned, and she said, "Ani, why do you always have to complain about the fun stuff I suggest?" I'm sure she was including my ballet in that statement! I sighed (privately), and went to brush my hair. I'll upload the photo to my photo blog when it gets developed, so check daily!

A Life So Boring

I really don't have much to write about for a post today. . . I guess my life is just so boring!
The Jeddi council is having their, um, council tomorrow night. I am planning on buying a riding lawnmower on Friday. I am going to a movie with Master Obi-Won on Thursday. (Good "Father" son time...) On Sunday we embark on a trip to my mom(Shmee) and dad (clegg)'s house (don't worry, I am bringing my laptop so I can make daily posts)...
Yep...I never do anything new......

Monday, August 25, 2008

Riding Lawnmower!

Wednesday we are having a Jeddi council to determine what we are going to do for our Jeddi fun night this week.  I don't care if my vote for a party does not go over well.  The only thing I hope is that my vote to NOT have a Parcheesi night will be agreed with by all.  Due to my last experience, I do not like Parcheesi as much...

Great news!  Padmae is letting me buy a riding lawn mower!  I feel like I am getting too old to be pushing one around the yard (I'm 42, it says so on my profile!).  I think I will get a John Smear one.  They are the best!

Summer Break?...Aww Man!

Tomorrow is the day that summer break ends for me. I start Jeddi homework all over again. I just hope master Wendu doesn't assign as much as he did before. I know Padmae will be happy I am out of the house and I will be quitting finding dust all over her furniture just because I'm bored. One good thing though, the Jeddi council will be having a meeting on Wednesday night to figure out what to do for our Jeddi fun night this week. I will suggest a party (with lots of desserts!). Master Obi-Won said yesterday that I could start having more desserts!

Class Photo 2008 (Taken!)

Yesterday, we took the "Class Photo 2008". After I did my post for the day, I started practicing some guitar chords like I said, and then Master Ki-Adi-Mundee called me. He said he finally got it worked out. (You know, when we would be able to get all the Jeddi together to take a photo). I was happy for him...until he told me to come right away because that was the only time in the next millennium that the whole Jeddi council would be able to get together. So I drove over there, and we took the photo.

From left to right: Master Wendu, Master Yoduh, Master Quigone (bad hair day), Master Tu-Sheeshkabob, Me (another bad hair day), Master Obi-Won, and Master Siri (good hair day, but looks like she's planning something).

So, that's the photo. Oh, by-the-bye, I now have an e-photo album. You can look at it at www.anikinsphotos.blogspot.com.

Look, Stare, ADMIRE!

Last night, I had my second Bass lesson.  As I said before, I brought my new bass.  All the guys liked it.  (I also got the idea that Wedgie was green with envy!)  Anyway, Mr. Pracket said he probably would have picked something a little less "exciting", but he complimented me on my decision (company-wise).  He is a huge fan of Bender guitars.  I got a Bender Fatocaster.  I have to go and practice some of the chords he taught me.

Show-off?

I can't wait 'till tonight!  I am dying to show all the guys at my bass class the bass I bought on Saturday!  I think my instructor (Mr. Pracket) will be impressed.  (I mean, he only has boring colored basses like blue and red.  But nothing like mine...)
I don't think I could be called a show-off, I'm just really enthusiastic is all...

There are 4 guys in my class (besides me) Caleb (a quiet guy), Tu-San (a hyper alien), Mac (a big guy who has trouble remembering certain things Mr. Pracket tells him) and Wedge (a kid about Luke's age, I call him Wedgie [but I don't think he likes that])...

Class Photo 2008

Wow!  This is like a family reunion!  We are taking the 2008 photo of our Jeddi council this week.  The thing is, not everyone is located on Corisaunt.  Lots of people (like me) have homes in other places.  I live on a planet close to Corisaunt, but some people live in other galaxies!  So, we are trying to get a day that we can all get together.  I am glad I'm not in charge!  I would go CRAZY!!!  Somebody that can hold all this information in his head should be in charge!  That is why Master Ki-Adi-Mundi (you know, Mr. Two-Brains...) is in charge!

The Garden

Padmae started a garden recently. I know I mentioned a "garden", but that really couldn't count because it was just a row of three potted plants on our front porch. But she talked about it as if it was a garden! Anyway, she started a real one on Saturday. It is in our front yard. I think she really appreciates us making our house on Nabu instead of Corisaunt. I mean, the dirt here is much more fertil than the concrete of Corisaunt! Anyway, now she has two rows of tomatoes, one row of soybeans, half a row of jalepenos, half a row of bellpeppers, and (oh joy...) one row of spinach. Ick!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Jeddi temple is having their "Class 2008" photo taken soon. (I know it isn't really a class, but if you ask Master Yoduh, he'll just say, "Some things for young Padiwans such as yourself are just too hard to understand...") It only has those who are in the council. Master Ki-Adi-Mundee is nervous, he thinks all the young Padiwans will laugh at him for being bald. But, I think, when they see the picture on the bulletin board, they will be more in awe of his brains than interested in laughing at his head!

New Bass!!!

On Saturday, I bought a bass. So why did he leave us all in the dark and not tell us till today? is what I'll bet you are wondering. Just hold on! The reason I did not write a post yesterday is because Padmae, Luke, Lea and I were all visiting Padmae's relatives. They all live on Nabu, but it still took a while because Padmae heard that her 2nd cousin (on her mother's side) twice removed (who also lives on Naboo) had just had a baby and Padmae wanted to buy a gift for them. So we went out, bought the gift, visited all of her relatives on the face of the planet [or so it seemed] and got home at 10:00 p.m. (past my curfew) I begged Padmae to let me write a post, but she said that I would probably be going out to a movie with the Jeddi council pretty soon, so I should get right in bed. NO nonsense, Ani! So I just had to take a photo of my bass this morning and upload it to be able to post my blog. Pretty neat bass, huh.

Cookout Last Night

Last night the Jeddi temple had their annual cookout. It was a blast. As said, the person that made the dish that was chosen favorite by the judges (Judges = All Jeddi present) would get his picture hung up on the wall of the Jeddi temple along with a notecard that would say: Best Baker of the Year. [I know I said later on that I did not know what prize would be given out, but I had forgotten.] Anyway, Master Obi-Won (strangely) was the winner of the contest. He made his entry with a recipe of Master Quigone's for 29 bean soup. Master Quigone (since the movie's were all fakes, he never died) said it wasn't fair that Obi-Won used his recipe. I'll bet that all of you are wondering what Master Wendu's reaction to all of this was since he has that famous fudge marble cake and normally wins contests like this. Well, he said that he had had a kitchen mixup and probably put some wrong ingredients in where he shouldn't. After that, for some reason, he grounded me from XBox for a week. I don't understand it! (Though...Master Obi-Won did say that he thought it was sort of rude for me to say that Master Wendu was a sore loser!)

The search goes on for the electric bass. I will upload a pic of it when I buy it.

My First Bass Lessons

Last night I had my first bass lessons. They were fun, but not as action packed as my ballet class. Mr. Pracket was fun though. I was the only person there who did not have a bass of his own. I am planning on searching for one on Saturday. Tonight is the cookout. I am bringing my mom's taco salad, Siri (oh sorry, Master Siri) is bringing (and I quote) Black berry forest pie! I hope to have a slice if Master Obi-WanWon won't keep me away from the desserts. But, wait! He said that he would give me a more lenient diet if I finished my ballet! If he approaches me, I will remind him of his promise. Now, of course, I know "lenient" does not mean FREE, but it does mean I can have sweets more often!

Tomorrow

Tomorrow night is the potluck cookout in the Jeddi temple's back yard!  I'm planning on bringing some taco salad (my mom's recipe).  I don't expect it to be a hit, but I hope everybody likes it!  One thing is, I don't know what prize they are giving out...

The search goes on for the bass.  But, never fear!  My teacher, Mr. Pracket said that he can loan me one of his basses for this first class.  I need to go, I will tell all about my first class tomorrow.

Electric Bass

It occurred to me that I would need to buy a bass for my lessons on Thursday.  So I am going to the Jeddi Music Center today to look for one.  I will upload a picture of it when I buy it.  I plan to be part of Master Wendu and Master Yoduh's band.  Keep your fingers crossed!

Cookout!

We are having a Jeddi cookout on Friday next week! We are each picking something to bring to this potluck. The reason we are waiting 'till Friday is because we want everybody to have a chance to decide what they are going to bring. Why so much bother about what we are going to bring? Well, we are having a contest, and whoever makes the best dish gets his picture hung up on the wall of the Jeddi temple along with a notecard that says: Best Baker of the Year. I think Master Wendu will bring his fudge marble cake. He will no doubt win. But I am bringing a taco salad (my mom's recipe!) just in case fate chooses a different winner...

Lessons etc.

Okay, what's the big deal???!!! Padmae found out about my being able to use ballet skills in fighting! I am so annoyed. (Did you tell her Siri?)
Anyway, speaking of lessons, I missed by first bass lesson due to being captured by Count Dukoo (read post here), but am planning to do my class this week.

Freedom!

Alright! I am finally home! Let me tell you the story: as most of you know, Count Dukoo captured me on Wednesday. I finally got up enough force strength to bust the cell door open. But, oh dear! Count Dukoo met me in the hallway. Apparently he was on the way to his room to play some video games or something... Anyway, he pulled out his lightsaber and started advancing. The battle went on for 10 minutes, and finally, I remembered all the twirls and somersaults I learned in my ballet class. I confused him so much, that he got dizzy and fell kerplunk on the floor. As I was exiting, I saw a storm trooper come down the hall with some aspirin. So Padmae signing me up for ballet actually helped me! (But I sure hope she doesn't find out!)

In Danger!

I can't write a long post.  I brought my cellphone to Count Dukoo's place when I went on my special mission, and am text messaging a post.  But I have to do it quick before the guard notices I have a phone and takes it away!  Why am I under guard you may ask?  Well, because I got ambushed by an innumerable amount of droids while I was wandering around in Count Dukoo's ship looking for the said sithe and am now in a cell.  I don't want to call for help with my cellphone (ha, that's funny: a cellphone in a cell!) because I want to do this myself.  I will write a post when I get back.  (Don't be impatient, it may be a couple of days...)

Special Training

I am traveling to count Dukoo's ship tomorrow to fight him for some special training on how to fight dangerous sithes. BY MYSELF!. I will be back on Wednesday (to account for possible mishaps [like, getting imprisoned!]). I am busy tonight packing so I don't have much time to talk. I will tell all about it when I get back. See ya!

Now Why Didn't I Think of That?!!!

Okay, now I am really annoyed!  Last night I had my recital, and it was great!  I did not have to wear a tutu.  I got to wear my black jeddi suit.  It would have been a successful night except for the fact that Mrs. Harding made me wear one of those tiaras that all of her ballet dancers wear on their recital nights!  I used my force powers to make her say I would not have to wear a tutu, but I neglected to think about the question of embarrassing headgear!  (I know you were laughing, Siri, but I appreciate the fact that nobody brought a camera!)

Rock Band

You know how Master Wendu and Master Yoduh were practicing songs for a band they are starting?  They are thinking of calling the band Lightsaber Pros.  I am about to take bass lessons.  I will do them every Thursday around 8:00 PM starting next week!  I am excited!  This is going to be an interesting alternative for ballet.  So how doest this tie in to the Jeddi band?  Well, think about it...  When I learn I plan to join them!  (Though, considering the trouble we had last time, we may not want to practice at my house!)

Gotta run!  I have to do my recital tonight!  (Thank goodness I don't have to wear a tutu!)

Success!

Tadaa! Lea's new ship has been found! We went shopping yesterday and found it. It is an off-brand company called Workshop Ships. They had this cool deal where you got a free cartoon drawing of the car after you bought it. So Lea took this home and I scanned it into the computer and put it on this post so that you can see it (I haven't had a chance to take a picture). Is it not so "classy"? And pretty inexpensive too! (Notice Lea picked red!).

Last night I had my ballet night, and I used my force powers to convince Mrs. Harding to let me be an exception to the rule of having to wear a tutu to the recital! (Tomorrow is my recital night, let me know if you need directions.)

Finish Line

YES!!! Tonight is my last night of ballet (excepting, of course, my recital)!!! Though I complained a lot about it; it has been fun (I know lots of you are gaping while reading this, but, hang in there!)! I know I complained a lot about it (read: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...), but I really enjoyed it! I got exercise out of a different outlet than running. The reason I complained a lot about it was it was embarrassing. But now, I will be done and can take those bass lessons! (By the way: anyone who is interested can come to the recital...)

Since my ballet is tonight, we will continue the search for Lea's ship during the day...

Master Ki-Adi-Mundee's Graduation

Today we are having a special meeting at the council. Master Ki-Adi-Mundee is graduating to a general. He is a master already, but he is becoming a general as well (like Master Obi-Won). For this he will get a diploma. (Becoming a general is a big event because it concerns the whole rebel force. Which would explain you not getting a diploma at your graduation, Siri) Needless to say, we will not search for Lea's new ship today because we are all going to this special event.
We are all supposed to bring snacks (and yes Siri): I will bring carrots!

Helping "Goldilocks"

We are about to leave for the Ford Ship Distribution company.  We are helping Lea buy her new ship.  I don't think we will stay as long there because the ships are not as classy as Lea would like them.  I might take Master Siri's idea, but I think we need to be patient.  Still, if I lose my patience, we will just choose for Lea.  We will give her a good chance to make up her mind, though.  (I think I will warn her; Cadillacs are out of the question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Fiery Relationship

Hon and Lea had an argument. Storm Troop asked me if I would tell about how their relationship is going and I am. They went out to the Dark Side diner on Friday and were eating (I know that is what normal people do at a restaurant, but, Hon and Lea normally just chat [besides, Lea is not normal, I am proud to say]). Hon was talking about his week and how it went. He happened to mention gambling and Lea ordered him to quit. (I guess she gets that from being a princess and all...) Anyway, Hon looked at her like she was crazy and marched out of the restaurant with Lea following him yelling at him the whole way to the ship in the parking lot. (Lea says, "Pretty much every person in the restaurant asked us if the restaurant was on fire!") I guess you were right, Mike, about the gambling. Except, Lea did not even wait around for them to get married!!!

Shopping with a picky buyer

We have been shopping, shopping, shopping all afternoon for Lea's ship. She said, "No, that one's not the right color...No, that one's not cute enough...etc. etc..." I never knew my daughter was so picky! I think we will go shopping again on Monday. We will help "goldilocks" buy her ship!

Big, New Purchase

Yeah, yeah, I know I don't have that much money.  But Padmae and I talked about it, and we decided that it is time to buy a ship for Lea.  I mean, she is the same age as Luke, and he already has a ship (ignoring the fact, of course, that his X-Wing is a benefit of his job).  I know she "owned" a Blockade Runner, but that was technically the rebel's ship.  We have been putting off buying her a new ship because we have had so much to think about with my ballet and all.  I just hope she won't want a Cadillac!!!

Ballet Last Night

Last night, I had a ballet class. This is my second-to-last ballet class!!! Next Wednesday is my last. Siri asked if we were going to have a recital. Well, I asked Mrs. Harding about that last night, and she said, "You know Anikin, that is a good question. I will talk to everybody about it. GIRLS, and-ahem, Anikin, we are going to have a recital next week on Friday. I expect all of you to be ready. Thank you Anikin for bringing this to my attention."
Great... I did not want to have to do a ballet recital. Oh well, I guess I can bring my mom. (Oh, you can come too, Siri!)

Lightning Strikes and Polka dots...

The workers finally finished putting in the carpet that Master Wendu picked out for the Jeddi temple. So, guess what, Master Yoduh finally left our house! NO more waking up in the middle of the night to electric guitars! NO more losing my precious midnight snacks to Master Yoduh! So, Storm Troop, and Luke you are welcome to come look at the new carpet any time! I am happy to have my house back in order again! (I wonder if we can return the earplugs?)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, and, ICYF (In Case You Forgot) tonight is my ballet night. Tonight and next Wednesday night are my only ballet classes left! (Yes, Storm Troop, I am going to ask Master Obi-Won about being able to order that cake from that guy on Hothe).

Necessity Items

Alright, Padmae just asked me to go to The Rebellion Super-center to get some groceries for her.  I am in my speeder at the moment typing out this post on my laptop while I am in a traffic jam.  You would think that Corissaunt would have more traffic jams!  I guess there are just a lot of guys with mental shopping lists going to the store to buy whatever they remember...

Let see if I can remember; Padmae asked me to get:
  1. Milk
  2. Eggs
  3. Sausage
  4. Earplugs (HA!  I don't wonder why we need those...)

Can't A Fellow Get Any Sleep Around Here?!!!!!

I wish we had a sound proof room! Master Yoduh says he and Master Wendu have gotten a band together. A two Jeddi band! He says he has to practice his songs. Normally I wouldn't mind, but he is staying over at my house. (But does he have to practice them in the middle of the night?) None of my family can sleep, so we are all staying up watching Star Wars Episode IV (great family movie!). I just hope I don't have to do any Jeddi homework tomorrow, because I will be tired...

Sunday, July 20, 2008

Oh SWELL...

Rowwihkhowhowowdiddlewoweeeoooo...  Do you hear that?  (Actually, I know you can't hear it, but that is my impersonation of Master Yoduh's guitar).  Yep, he came over because they closed the Jeddi Temple.  Why is the Jeddi Temple closed?  Because Master Wendu's putting in a new carpet.  (He still won't agree with my idea to use bean-bags instead of those uncomfortable chairs we have--oh well...)  So now, just because Master Wendu wants a jazzier carpet, I have to pay.  I guess I could send Master Yoduh over to Master Wendu's house.  But Master Wendu is worn out from all the homework grading and is taking a nap.  I didn't have the heart to do that to him.

I know I am not supposed to work on Sunday, but I did some arithmetic, and figured out that I only have 2 more ballet classes.  YAHOOOOOOO!!!  Thanks to Mrs. Harding's cancellation of my most recent class, I am all smiles.

The Dexter Movie?

Master Wendu wants to go watch a movie called The Dexter Movie.  What happened is Obi-Won's friend, Dexter (you know; the guy who owned the diner) decided to make a movie about himself.  I just hope it is not as dumb as the Wading Through Water movie!  But, as chairman, Master Wendu gets the last word in any dispute we may have.  So: we are going to the movie!  :(  Sorry Siri, I guess I won't see you at the Walking in White concert tonight.  Oh well, I've heard the theater has good popcorn...

IMPORTANT

Tonight, the Jeddi council is having a meeting to figure out something important.  We need to decide what we are going to do for our Jeddi fun night this week.  I personally want to go to a concert.  Mike-Wazowski (one of my commenters) has been saying that he likes a five storm trooper band named Walking In White.  They are having a concert Saturday night, and I really want to go!  But, unfortunately, the chairman of our council (Mace Wendu) wants to go watch a movie.  I just hope it is nothing like Wading Through Water!  Whew!  What a waste of a Saturday afternoon (not to mention the time I spent bidding on eBay!)!!!  Well, I will tell all about it tomorrow.

Master Yoduh and Master Wendu are practicing some songs in the Jeddi temple.  I have given up trying to train Dood!

Thursday, July 17, 2008

Sit, Stay, No Wait, Fetch!

I am currently training Dood, my Wukerfilmydoodle pet (read about him here) to do tricks. I think he is a tad confused, though, because Luke and Lea have caught on to what I'm doing and when I am teaching Dood how to fetch, Luke or Lea comes around the corner just as Dood is about to run to fetch the ball and say "SIT!". I think from now on I will do Dood's training in the Jeddi training center!

Master Wendu is jealous of Master Yoduh's new treasure. So he is saving up his Jeddi income to buy a really nice drumset. I don't know where this will lead; maybe to all of us buying expensive instruments and getting a band together! Ha, ha, ha...

Glad Tidings! (not to mention the guitar!)

I suppose some of you people out there are wondering why I am writing a post at 8:00 when my ballet class starts at 7:00. Well, that is because Mrs. Harding (my ballet teacher) cancelled the ballet class for tonight because she has to go to another planet for a surprise birthday party. She neglected to tell me this joyous news until this morning, but I am too happy to be put out!

Padmae says to quit complaining because my ballet will be finished at the end of July, but I prefer to think of it as having a good attitude. I am seeing the good in not being able to do ballet tonight (though, to be completely honest, it's not that I really mind it either!)

Master Yoduh recently bought a new guitar. (Did I tell you that he plays the guitar? If not, FYI: Wendu plays the drums) He is constantly calling me and telling me about a cool feature he just discovered about it. I would hope it has a bunch of features considering how much it cost!
